The DeGem Girih Diamond Necklace was inspired by the eight-pointed symmetrical star and the girih patterns in the Islamic architectural art. The girih, often found in the tiles design of historical Islamic buildings, is repetitive in nature – which represents renewed hopes to mark the end of the holy month of Ramadhan and to welcome Syawal.
